Bangkok Airways flies five main routes and their fares are slightly
more expensive than Thai International due to Airport Maintenance fee
of their own airports. The mainstay of the Bangkok Airways fleet is
the Franco-Italian ATR-72 |

AIR ANDAMAN (2Y)
Air Andaman is the exciting new addition to the Thai aviation
industry. Based in Phuket with routes to the other resort destinations
in Thailand. Air Andaman will be an important instrument in the
ongoing establishment and promotion of Phuket and the southern
peninsular as a world class seaside destination.
Air Andaman's fleet consists of 2 British Aerospace Jetstream 31
aircrafts. Jetstream 31 is a modern 19 seat pressurized twin turboprop
used throughout the world in commuter airlines.
Routes in operation are Bangkok to Chumphon, Pattaya - Hua Hin -
Phuket and vice versa. |

PB AIR (9Q)
Founded by Dr.Piya BhiromBhakdi : The President of famous "Shigha
Beer" producer, Boonrawd Brewery Co., Ltd. PBAir was formed to fulfill
an on request air transport for the executives of the brewery. The
mission for PBAir was to provide safe , fast, and private flight all
over the region. After the ultimate convenience became well-known,
PBAir wanted to extend the niche service to the public by apply for
the license to operate the flight commercially. The Department of
Aviation ,Ministry of Transport granted Chart/Non-schedule license to
PBAir in November 1995. PBAir started charter service as an alternate
way of travel. The first scheduled charter destination was Chumphon
the tropical resort on the East coast of Southern Thailand. PBAir was
designated by the Thai government to participate in the Indonesia
Malaysia Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) project. This action has
placed PBAir in the new hub of exotic tropical destinations. |

PHUKET AIR (9R)
Phuket Air was established in January 2001 to corresponding with the
Open Sky policy of the Thai Government. The company began its
operations with one Boeing 737-200 jet, which it used to offer daily
flight services on the Bangkok-Ranong-Bangkok and Bangkok-Phuket-Bangkok
routes.
Since then, Phuket Air has grown gradually. In the end of 2002, it
offered its quality services with 3 aircrafts to 5 destinations with a
total of 150 skillful employees. |
