Saraburi province is
located to the east of Ayutthaya province, around 100 km from Bangkok. Saraburi is
believed to date back to the middle of the 16th century, during the rule of King Maha
Chakkraphat. The province shares part of the Khao Yai National park and is
administratively divided into 10 Amphoes and 2 King Amphoes : Muang Saraburi, Kaeng Khoi,
Nong Khae, Wihan Daeng, Nong Saeng, Muak Lek, Ban Mo, Phra Phutthabat, Sao hai, Nong Don,
King Amphoe Don Phut and King Amphoe Wang Muang.
