Sa Kaeo province is located in the east of Thailand, bordering with provinces Chantaburi, Chachoengsao, Prachinburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Buriram. It also borders with Cambodia. It formerly had the status of Amphoe Sa Kaeo in Prachinburi Province, but was upgraded to provincial status in 1993. It is located about 220 km from Bangkok and is administratively divided into 6 Amphoes: Muang, Watthana Nakhon, Aranyaphrathet, Ta Phraya, Wang Nam Yen and Khlong Hat.

Pang Sida National Park
The park was established in 1982, covering approximately 844 sq km. The park contains many natural attractions, namely the waterfalls Nam Tok Pang Sida and Nam Tok Khwae Makha. Accommodation is available at the park, contact the National Park division at Bangkok, tel. 5790529.

Aranya Prathet
This is an important trading and transportation centre next to the border with Cambodia. There is a market nearby where many Cambodians cross into Thailand to sell various products from their homeland.
