This newcomer to Thailand's adventure scene features two exciting trips by Land Rover between Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son, taking five days and four nights, or Chiang Rai and Ken Thung in Myanmar, taking three days and two nights. Much of the journey is along dirt roads and tracks so that visitors can witness out-of-the-way areas. Accommodation is in forest lodges or basic hotels.

Motorbikes Adventure

There are not many feelings that beat cruising across the North of Thailand of a 250 cc trails bike. This region includes the infamous golden triangle that marks the point where Thailand, Laos and Burma converge on the mighty Mekong river. The mountain seem to be constantly shrouded in mist lending a mystique which is extenuated by the region's recent history. Famed for its opium production and warloards it is now calm and tranquil. The mountains are sprinkled with pistureque villages inhabited by many different hill tribes who's migratory patterns have led them from as far as Tibet and Yunnan to the high valleys of Northern Thailand where they still pursue their traditional way of life. Travelling by motorcycle one can see a vast amount of this fascitnating region in a relatively short time and experience an unforgettable journey.
