TOUR SUMMARY
Cycling has to be the best way to see the UNESCO site and surrounding countryside of Luang Prabang in the land of a million elephants. With outstanding natural beauty we cycle into the heart for the Laotian countryside and we get a chance to see ordinary Laotian people going about their everyday life. This is a chance to see rural Laos life up close, along with the Pak Ou caves, Krung Sri waterfall and of course Luang Prabang itself.
 
RIDING PROFILE
We ride between 60-120 km on roads that are tarmac or hard packed dirt trails. There are no real technical sections and this trip can be completed by most people.
 
ITINERARY
Day 1 Luang Prabang
Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel. Late afternoon walking tour of Luang Prabang. Wlaking tour includes visits to Royal Place, various temples inc Xieng Thong, Wat Mai Suwannaphumham, finish with walk up Phusi for sunsetviews.
   
Day 2 Luang Prabang 30-60 km [L]
Ride into the heart of the countryside take in the stunning views as we enjoy rural Laos and see everyday Laos people as they live (short or long loop can be ridden). After lunch visit to Pak Ou caves – home to 1000’s of Buddha images.
   
Day 3 Luang Prabang 30-60 km [L]
Ride to the spectacular Krungsri falls. Have a picnic lunch by the falls and either ride or transfer back to hotel.
   
Day 4 Luang Prabang
Morning free until transfer to airport for afternoon flight.

Road Surface This tour follows a mix of tarmac and vehicle-width dirt trails.
One or two air-conditioned minibuses specially rigged to take bikes and bikers.
Support A big 6-wheel truck with enough space for bikes and bikers.
Group Minimum 2. Maximum 16.
Staff This trip will be led by our local guide and our local support team.
Food Lunch on Day 2 & 3
Children Children aged 12-years and older are welcome on this trip and receive a 25% discount.
